John 15:2 — “…and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.”
God is not only interested in fruitfulness—He is committed to increasing it.
Every branch that bears fruit attracts His attention. Not for condemnation, but for refinement. Not to destroy, but to develop. The pruning process is not punishment—it is proof of His investment in you.
He sees beyond appearances. He discerns the heart. He knows the difference between a man who is struggling to stand and one who has abandoned His ways. He recognizes sincerity, even when progress seems slow.
And where He finds it—He works.
He is not wasteful with His resources. He does not invest deeply in indifference—but He is fully committed to a life that shows even the smallest sign of growth.
He steps in and makes that life meaningful.
If a man continually offers nothing—no hunger, no effort, no response—then even divine multiplication has nothing to work with. Zero, no matter how it is multiplied, remains zero.
But give Him something… even if it feels small.
And He will breathe upon it.
Barrenness becomes inevitable.
God’s desire is not just that you bear fruit—but that your life overflows with it.
Because every cut, every refinement, every moment of discipline is working toward one goal—
That your life will bring forth more fruit, and in it, reveal His glory.
