The burdens of this world
Are not for just one shoulder to carry
The worries of this life
Are not for one heart to bear
The tears of growing years
Are not for one person to shed
That is why the wind blows
Wherever the cloud has gathered
It is when the going gets tough
When the pathway of this world
Is flowered with thorns
When the heart is full of doubt
And the legs tremble in fears
That you will know a true friend
