TOMORROW IS TOO FAR FOR DREAMS
What happens in that dark passage
That narrow tunnel between life and death
Where the feet of all must one day thread
The very way all flesh must go
Friends and lovers recedes
The world and her fancies withdraws
All those gay times are gone
Only the soul at the gate of eternity can really tell
The pangs and pleasures of death
The great and final surrender
Death always prevail over the struggles of men
Inviting all to a realm without boundaries
Waiting as mystery unexplored
To the dwellers of the earth
Tomorrow is too far for dreams
For dreams at times fool us
To think life begins in the days to come
Worries and anxieties are ancient robbers
That swindle us of life while we live
Life is the good thing that happens now
Those who live in tomorrow are dead today
Tomorrow is too far for dreams
