HOLIDAYS TO BOND
For days we longed to share
The time we all held dear
Are here to bring us fun
And memories of days to come
The time we all must spend
To build in her a friend
We're sure she'll give a hand
When we're stuck up in the sand
With litters strewn around
And gouges on the ground
I check the date and hope
The holidays won't make me mope
The teacher must take a break
To renew and heal the ache
For he who nurtures a tyke
Must have the best of psych
The holiday will come and go
The time we spent will show
In what we groomed our sprouts
In the time we spent our bouts
