Song Bird

(Soul Poet)

The  day was young
The skies were blue
The dew bedewed roses
And yes we were young.

When you whistles,
I danced, without nesting.
And plucked you rose petals.

Winter comes, Spring comes,
But your red feathers warms.
In darkest and coldest times
Your whistling burns within my soul.
Oh Cardinal!.

You're spectrum of the seasons,
But the tree bends.
And nest splits.
Why did you left
Oh red bird.!
