MY DEATH IS MY JOY~
"How I cherish the day of death,
Like the golden rays of my breath.
For this my soul awaits,
The opening of the pearly gates.
Though it's stormy here in the open sea,
Yet, my soul long to see,
The pleasures under the living tree.

"Write not my name
On this windy sand of time.
Away thou frame
Of adorned crime.
Treasure me not in earthly memory,
For I leave not for the world a new story;
Nor a voice in the hall of fame.
I esteem the tranquil life
Bequested me by my Saviour;
Amid the vale of maelstrom and strife,
Because if to my sacred tomb I'm gone,
And my whole part I've done.
There shall I see the saintly convoy,
An entourage of angels,
Escorting me beyond hell.
To the Man who love me before the world was
born!"
