This love is like the amaranth tree
That never fades or dies.
Like the ancient sea
That never vanishes or dries.
It's strong like the rocks of the hill.
I know of nothing more real.
This love is like the wind
That flows and blows everywhere.
Tender as the paradise hind
Blooming in life without fear.
It never wavers in doubt
and nothing can put it out.
Eternity can not wear it away.
It remains as strong as ever.
Different kinds of love may abide today,
They will soon dry like the desert river.
But nothing can change us
For ours is a love born on the cross.
